Information You Send
Names, phone numbers, and addresses entered into the search forms are sent to the third-party provider that supplies those results; our own servers do not keep a copy of the search terms. A message sent to us contains only the details you choose to include, which are used to answer that message.
Routine Technical Logs
Hosting systems may record an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. Those logs are reviewed in aggregate for site health and broad traffic patterns. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics or, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Technical data supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic counts, and page improvements. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual user profiles are not built from these records.
External Portals and Links
Pages link to Sacramento County and California records portals, libraries, archives, and third-party search tools. The destination's privacy policy governs information submitted there. Sponsored results are supplied by a separate provider and follow that provider's practices.
Who May Process It
Hosting and technical service providers may process ordinary server logs. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Disclosure occurs when valid legal process requires it, or when needed to protect the service and its users.
Security and Retention
The connection is encrypted, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described above. Because there are no user accounts, this service does not hold a password or personal profile for you.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If a minor has sent information, contact us so it can be identified and deleted.
Your California Privacy Choices
Where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, Civil Code ยงยง1798.100 et seq., provides rights to know, delete, correct, limit certain sensitive-data uses, and opt out of sale or sharing, subject to statutory exceptions. California's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, known as DROP under the Delete Act, is a separate state mechanism for registered data brokers. Because this reference keeps little personal data, a request usually means checking the contact mailbox and relevant server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by California, Sacramento County, or Sacramento city offices remain under the control of their custodians.
